Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Snarling Tiger by Alan M. Hunt for GBP 117.50 (€ 181.75). This price was achieved in the auction Twentieth Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan M. Hunt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mother Love - Orang-utan in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 19,975.00 (€ 32,648.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Snarling Tiger von Alan M. Hunt für GBP 117,50 (€ 181,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan M. Hunt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mother Love - Orang-utan im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.975,00 (€ 32.648,35).
