In November 2000 Christies in London held the auction WILDLIFE ART, which included the work Mother Love - Orang-utan by Alan M. Hunt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 19,975.00 (€ 32,648.35), 33% above the upper estimate. With this result, Mother Love - Orang-utan is even the most expensive work of art by Alan M. Hunt that we have observed at auctions so far.
