Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2004 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Red shanks by Alan M. Hunt. The price achieved of GBP 143.40 (€ 214.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan M. Hunt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mother Love - Orang-utan in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 19,975.00 (€ 32,648.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red shanks von Alan M. Hunt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 143,40 (€ 214,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan M. Hunt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mother Love - Orang-utan im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.975,00 (€ 32.648,35).
