Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beach Stones by Alan Arthur Magee was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,925.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Alan Arthur Magee have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2021 the work Long Barrow was auctioned for USD 47,880.00 (€ 41,447.37).
