Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Rune by Alan Arthur Magee was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in June 2000. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 329.00 (€ 521.51). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Arthur Magee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Long Barrow in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 47,880.00 (€ 41,447.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Rune von Alan Arthur Magee wurde im Juni 2000 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 329,00 (€ 521,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Arthur Magee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Long Barrow im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 41.447,37).
