Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Rune by Alan Arthur Magee was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August last year. The price achieved of USD 22,950.00 (€ 22,801.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Alan Arthur Magee have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2021 the work Long Barrow was auctioned for USD 47,880.00 (€ 41,447.37).
