This work without title by Al Held was auctioned at Christies in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 19,560.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Al Held achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Compass Rose in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 312,500.00 (€ 283,601.05).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Al Held kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 19.560,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Al Held erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Compass Rose im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 312.500,00 (€ 283.601,05).
