Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work An inland settlement under construction by Akseli Gallen-Kallela for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 8,489.01). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Akseli Gallen-Kallela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn - Five Crosses: A preliminary work for the fresco in the Jusélius Mausoleum in October this year with an auction result of GBP 1,008,000.00 (€ 1,157,464.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An inland settlement under construction von Akseli Gallen-Kallela für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 8.489,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Akseli Gallen-Kallela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn - Five Crosses: A preliminary work for the fresco in the Jusélius Mausoleum im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.008.000,00 (€ 1.157.464,04).
