Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Akseli Gallen-Kallela could be acquired at Bukowski in Helsinki in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Selected Classics Helsinki F195 auction, the work Building. changed hands for EUR 9,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Akseli Gallen-Kallela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn - Five Crosses: A preliminary work for the fresco in the Jusélius Mausoleum in October this year with an auction result of GBP 1,008,000.00 (€ 1,157,464.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Akseli Gallen-Kallela konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bukowski in Helsinki für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Selected Classics Helsinki F195 wechselte die Arbeit Building. für EUR 9.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Akseli Gallen-Kallela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn - Five Crosses: A preliminary work for the fresco in the Jusélius Mausoleum im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.008.000,00 (€ 1.157.464,04).
