Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Deep In Thought. by Akseli Gallen-Kallela was sold in the Classic Sale F173 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2014. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Akseli Gallen-Kallela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn - Five Crosses: A preliminary work for the fresco in the Jusélius Mausoleum in October this year with an auction result of GBP 1,008,000.00 (€ 1,157,464.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Deep In Thought. von Akseli Gallen-Kallela wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Classic Sale F173 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 900,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Akseli Gallen-Kallela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn - Five Crosses: A preliminary work for the fresco in the Jusélius Mausoleum im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.008.000,00 (€ 1.157.464,04).
