Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,724.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aiden Lassell Ripley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In Quail Country in June 2001 with an auction result of USD 204,000.00 (€ 240,736.37).
