It achieved a price of USD 75,975.00 (€ 70,799.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aiden Lassell Ripley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In Quail Country, which sold at auction in June 2001 for USD 204,000.00 (€ 240,736.37).

Die Arbeit Wild Turkey Hunt 30 x 40 1/4 in. (76.2 x 102.2 cm.) von Aiden Lassell Ripley kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 75.975,00 (€ 70.799,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Für andere Arbeiten von Aiden Lassell Ripley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In Quail Country beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für USD 204.000,00 (€ 240.736,37) versteigert wurde.
