Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Trinity College Library, The Long Room, Dublin by Ahmet Ertug for USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,059.01). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahmet Ertug - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin, which sold at auction in April 2014 for USD 137,000.00 (€ 98,774.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Trinity College Library, The Long Room, Dublin von Ahmet Ertug für USD 43.750,00 (€ 39.059,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ahmet Ertug mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin beobachtet, die im April 2014 für USD 137.000,00 (€ 98.774,33) versteigert wurde.
