Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The National Library, Prague by Ahmet Ertug was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2015. The price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,545.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahmet Ertug - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin, which sold at auction in April 2014 for USD 137,000.00 (€ 98,774.33).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.545,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
