Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Vente du jour, which included the work Panthéon, Rome, 2011 by Ahmet Ertug. It changed hands for a price of EUR 37,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahmet Ertug - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin, which sold at auction in April 2014 for USD 137,000.00 (€ 98,774.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Panthéon, Rome, 2011 von Ahmet Ertug zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 37.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ahmet Ertug mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin beobachtet, die im April 2014 für USD 137.000,00 (€ 98.774,33) versteigert wurde.
