Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Bodoniana Library, Parma by Ahmet Ertug. The price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 45,887.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahmet Ertug - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin, which sold at auction in April 2014 for USD 137,000.00 (€ 98,774.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bodoniana Library, Parma von Ahmet Ertug zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 45.887,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ahmet Ertug mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin beobachtet, die im April 2014 für USD 137.000,00 (€ 98.774,33) versteigert wurde.
