Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Bibiena Theatre, Mantova by Ahmet Ertug. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 48,933.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahmet Ertug - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin, which sold at auction in April 2014 for USD 137,000.00 (€ 98,774.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bibiena Theatre, Mantova von Ahmet Ertug zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 48.933,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ahmet Ertug mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Library of Trinity College, 'The Long Room', Dublin beobachtet, die im April 2014 für USD 137.000,00 (€ 98.774,33) versteigert wurde.
