It achieved a price of HKD 21,510.00 (€ 2,384.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmad Zakii Anwar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man in April 2007 with an auction result of SGD 72,000.00 (€ 34,682.28).

Die Arbeit Still life von Ahmad Zakii Anwar kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 21.510,00 (€ 2.384,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmad Zakii Anwar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Man im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SGD 72.000,00 (€ 34.682,28).
