The work Untitled by Ahmad Sadali was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,537.18), 36% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmad Sadali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition with Orange Background in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,292,000.00 (€ 639,841.32).

Die Arbeit Untitled von Ahmad Sadali wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.537,18) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmad Sadali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition with Orange Background im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.292.000,00 (€ 639.841,32).
