Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Komposisi Abu-Abu Hijau dan Emas (Gray, Green and Gold Composition) by Ahmad Sadali. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,753.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmad Sadali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition with Orange Background in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,292,000.00 (€ 639,841.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Komposisi Abu-Abu Hijau dan Emas (Gray, Green and Gold Composition) von Ahmad Sadali zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.753,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmad Sadali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition with Orange Background im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.292.000,00 (€ 639.841,32).
