Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ough...Nguik!! by Agus Suwage was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,990.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 160,000.00. Admittedly, works by Agus Suwage have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Impermanence Landscape in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 126,879.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ough...Nguik!! von Agus Suwage wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.990,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 160.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Agus Suwage auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Impermanence Landscape im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 126.879,43).
