Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong, which included the work Luxury Crime by Agus Suwage. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 226,800.00 (€ 25,217.86). Admittedly, works by Agus Suwage have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Impermanence Landscape in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 126,879.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit Luxury Crime von Agus Suwage zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 226.800,00 (€ 25.217,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Agus Suwage auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Impermanence Landscape im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 126.879,43).
