Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Return from the Market by Adrien Moreau was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,907.20). Admittedly, works by Adrien Moreau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Carnival Procession in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 61,100.00 (€ 68,207.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Return from the Market von Adrien Moreau kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.600,00 (€ 10.907,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrien Moreau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Carnival Procession im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 61.100,00 (€ 68.207,19).
