Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Fortune Teller by Adrien Moreau was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. The price achieved of USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,271.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adrien Moreau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Carnival Procession in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 61,100.00 (€ 68,207.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Fortune Teller von Adrien Moreau kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 9.271,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrien Moreau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Carnival Procession im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 61.100,00 (€ 68.207,19).
