Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 15,625.00 (€ 19,468.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrien Moreau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Carnival Procession, which sold at auction in November 2001 for USD 61,100.00 (€ 68,207.19).
