In October 2007 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art, which included the work After the Wedding by Adrien Moreau. The price achieved of USD 61,000.00 (€ 42,162.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Adrien Moreau have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2001 the work The Carnival Procession was auctioned for USD 61,100.00 (€ 68,207.19).
