Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Composition Grey by Adrian Heath. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 31,500.00 (€ 35,164.63). Admittedly, works by Adrian Heath have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Painting With Orange And Purple in October last year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,825.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Grey von Adrian Heath zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 31.500,00 (€ 35.164,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrian Heath auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Painting With Orange And Purple im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.825,19).
