Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Fishing on a summers day by Adriaan Marinus Geyp for EUR 960.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adriaan Marinus Geyp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seasons: a forest path in summer; and A forest path in autumn, which sold at auction in February 2004 for EUR 2,987.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fishing on a summers day von Adriaan Marinus Geyp für EUR 960,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adriaan Marinus Geyp mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seasons: a forest path in summer; and A forest path in autumn beobachtet, die im Februar 2004 für EUR 2.987,50 versteigert wurde.
