The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,850.00 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Adolphe Feder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Symbolist Composition With Nude in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 40,016.01).

Die Arbeit Portrait De Lucien Chalit von Adolphe Feder wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art 2 bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.850,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adolphe Feder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Symbolist Composition With Nude im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 40.016,01).
