In November 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Russian Symbolist Composition With Nude by Adolphe Feder. The auction ended at the price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 40,016.01), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Russian Symbolist Composition With Nude is the most expensive artwork by Adolphe Feder that we have observed at auctions so far.
