Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bouquet of mimosas and pear slices by Adolphe Feder was sold in the Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists auction at Bonhams in London in March 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 9,562.50 (€ 11,233.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolphe Feder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Russian Symbolist Composition With Nude, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 40,016.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bouquet of mimosas and pear slices von Adolphe Feder wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.562,50 (€ 11.233,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Feder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Russian Symbolist Composition With Nude beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 60.000,00 (€ 40.016,01) versteigert wurde.
