Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2001 Christies in London held the auction Prints, which included the work A collection comprising Ferme et Marais Port Louis (M. 08-03); Lavoir de Kervoën (M. 08-02); Nu assis de Profil (M. 05-14); Vache au dessus de la Rivière de Merrien; and two others by Adolphe Beaufrère. The price achieved of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,919.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Adolphe Beaufrère have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2001 the work Paysage à la colline rouge was auctioned for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 3,035.40).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.919,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
