Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Adolph Gottlieb achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in June this year. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Jetsam sold for GBP 1,536.00 (€ 1,787.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolph Gottlieb achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bonac in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,812,500.00 (€ 4,250,198.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adolph Gottlieb erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit Jetsam für GBP 1.536,00 (€ 1.787,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolph Gottlieb erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bonac im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.812.500,00 (€ 4.250.198,71).
