A top price for Adolph Gottlieb - as previously expected
The work Bonac by Adolph Gottlieb was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 4,812,500.00 (€ 4,250,198.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bonac is the most expensive artwork by Adolph Gottlieb that we have observed at auctions so far.
