Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Duet' by Adolph Alexander Weinman was sold in the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in March 2009. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,253.98). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolph Alexander Weinman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chief Black Bird, Ogalalla Sioux in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,680.37).
