This artwork by Konstantin Stoilov achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in May 2016. In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Im Hippodrom sold for EUR 5,805.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Stoilov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Russian Caravan racing in the Snow, which sold at auction in October 2004 for USD 28,680.00 (€ 22,501.18).
Schätzpreis um 94 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Konstantin Stoilov erzielte im Mai 2016 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Kunst wurde die Arbeit Im Hippodrom für EUR 5.805,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Stoilov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Russian Caravan racing in the Snow beobachtet, die im Oktober 2004 für USD 28.680,00 (€ 22.501,18) versteigert wurde.
