The result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 6,848.75) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Stoilov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Russian Caravan racing in the Snow, which sold at auction in October 2004 for USD 28,680.00 (€ 22,501.18).

Die Arbeit Cossacks in a vinter lanscape von Konstantin Stoilov wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 6.848,75) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00.
