It achieved a price of GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,913.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Admittedly, works by Adam Willaerts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Embarkation of the Elector Palatine in the 'Prince Royal at Dover, 25 April 1613 in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 156,250.00.

Die Arbeit A Marine With Five Vessels Out To Sea And Another In Port, And With Groups Of Largely Male Figures Engaged In Buying Or Selling Fish Or Other Wares von Adam Willaerts wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.913,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%.
