Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Black Dada by Adam Pendleton was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 119,700.00 (€ 141,917.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adam Pendleton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Days) in November last year with an auction result of USD 604,800.00 (€ 585,876.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Black Dada von Adam Pendleton kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 119.700,00 (€ 141.917,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Pendleton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Days) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 604.800,00 (€ 585.876,20).
