Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Adam Handler could be acquired at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Prism Ghost Abduction changed hands for HKD 76,800.00 (€ 9,012.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adam Handler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ghost Abduction in a Lost Flower Garden in March last year with an auction result of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 50,766.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adam Handler konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Prism Ghost Abduction für HKD 76.800,00 (€ 9.012,10) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Handler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ghost Abduction in a Lost Flower Garden im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 50.766,88).
