Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A mountainous river landscape by Abraham Rademaker was sold in the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna auction at Christies in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,744.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Rademaker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of Nijmegen, With Boatmen Loading Barges In The Foreground in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,222.06).
