The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,479.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Abraham Rademaker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of Nijmegen, With Boatmen Loading Barges In The Foreground in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,222.06).
