Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The ruins of the Karthuyser Church near Delft by Abraham Rademaker was sold in the Old Master Works on Paper: Prints and Drawings for under £5,000 auction at Christies in London in December 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 835.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Rademaker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of Nijmegen, With Boatmen Loading Barges In The Foreground in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,222.06).

Die Arbeit The ruins of the Karthuyser Church near Delft von Abraham Rademaker wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Old Master Works on Paper: Prints and Drawings for under £5,000 bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 835,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Rademaker erzielen.
