Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2008 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Swiss landscape With Figures by Louis Buvelot. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 48,000.00 (€ 28,019.91). Other works by Louis Buvelot have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 86,400.00 (€ 52,047.06) in November 2007 for the work Swiss Near Bacchusmarsh [Sic. Sunset On The Werribee|AID130772].
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2008 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swiss landscape With Figures von Louis Buvelot zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 48.000,00 (€ 28.019,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Louis Buvelot haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 86.400,00 (€ 52.047,06) im November 2007 für die Arbeit Swiss Near Bacchusmarsh [Sic. Sunset On The Werribee|AID130772] beobachtet.
