Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A young lady, in light grey dress with wide lace collar, curling powdered hair; sky background by Abraham Daniel was sold in the Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes auction at Christies in London in December 2008. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 3,938.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Daniel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Young Girl, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 3.938,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
