Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Young Child by Abraham Daniel was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,187.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Daniel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Young Girl, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Child von Abraham Daniel kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.187,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abraham Daniel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.748,59) versteigert wurde.
