A top price for Abraham Daniel - as previously expected
In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Miniatures from a Private Collection, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Girl by Abraham Daniel. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of A Young Girl is the most expensive artwork by Abraham Daniel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Miniatures from a Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl von Abraham Daniel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.748,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Portrait Of A Young Girl das teuerste Kunstwerk von Abraham Daniel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
