Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Captain William Allan Cox (1750-1798) by Abraham Daniel was sold in the Important Miniatures from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,374.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Daniel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Young Girl, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Captain William Allan Cox (1750-1798) von Abraham Daniel wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Important Miniatures from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.374,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
