Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of an officer, circa 1790 by Abraham Daniel was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,548.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Daniel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Girl in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of an officer, circa 1790 von Abraham Daniel kam im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.548,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Daniel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.748,59).
