Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work 'A Mule (The Property Of Lord Holland) - And An Ass' by Abraham Cooper. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,196.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Daniel Haigh, Master Of The Old Surrey And Burstow Hunt On His Horse Kitten in June 2008 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 35,718.82).
